Display placement for a small desk companion

Agent Pet is a small pixel-robot companion with a front LCD face. Placement determines whether it feels like a welcome desk detail or an object you repeatedly move out of the way. Plan around the desk's ordinary use: reading, typing, reaching and standing. Do not judge fit solely from a close-up product image.

Where can you see it comfortably?

Choose a position where the face is visible from your normal seated posture if viewing it is part of the appeal. Avoid a spot that requires repeated leaning or turning just to inspect a small expression. The relevant test is the actual desk arrangement, not the apparent size of an image on your main monitor.

Check whether the object blocks part of a screen, speaker or other item you regularly use. A location that looks tidy from across the room may interfere with work at the desk. Keep the main reading and input areas usable before arranging decorative elements around them.

What movement happens nearby?

Consider the mouse path, keyboard adjustments and where your hands go when reaching for everyday items. Keep the companion away from a desk edge or a spot where it is likely to be brushed by a sleeve. If the desk changes height, inspect the whole range of ordinary movement.

Use the actual product's confirmed dimensions and connection requirements when assessing fit. Avoid inventing clearance measurements or assuming the device can be mounted in a way not supported by its design. A stable position with enough room to handle the device normally is more useful than a tight decorative gap.

How should any cables be routed?

Follow the documented power and connection arrangement for the unit. Keep leads away from moving furniture and avoid pulling a connector tight to reach a preferred display position. Make sure the route remains practical when the chair or desk moves.

Leave access for normal setup and disconnection without requiring the entire desk to be dismantled. Do not cover openings or wrap the device to hide a cable. If the proposed position creates a complicated connection problem, choose a simpler location rather than forcing the layout.

How do you assess the final arrangement?

Use the desk for representative tasks and note whether you keep moving the object or glancing at it unintentionally. Check the view in ordinary lighting and from any position you frequently use. Adjust the placement based on that experience rather than treating the first arrangement as permanent.

Review the Agent Pet hardware information for current setup facts. A good location preserves comfortable work paths while giving the companion a place where its visual character can be enjoyed without demanding constant rearrangement.
