What is the Agent Pet?
A blocky orange pixel-robot about the height of an espresso cup, with stubby legs and a square LCD face showing two dark pixel eyes. Expressions are customisable.
What is the Agent Pet for?
The same job as the Status Light, done charmingly instead of legibly. People buy the light to be informed and the pet because it makes the desk better to sit at. In practice the pet is the one that ends up photographed and posted.
How do you use the Agent Pet?
- Power the Agent Pet over Type-C.
- Point your agent's start and stop hooks at it, as you would the Status Light.
- Assign an expression to each state.
- Make the waiting-on-you face the one you find hardest to ignore.

How does the Agent Pet compare?

Your agent's state, as a facial expression on its LCD, typically thinking, waiting for your input, and finished. The expressions are customisable.
Does the Agent Pet configure itself?
No. Like the Status Light, the hardware is the easy half; you supply the hook that tells it what your agent is doing.
How is it powered?
Type-C, permanently. There is no battery to manage.
What to know before buying
As with the Status Light, you write the glue that tells it what your agent is doing. The hardware does not detect that on its own.
