Reducing Repetitive Strain From Accept-and-Reject Clicking

Repetitive strain from reviewing agent output is not caused by any single click - it is caused by the same small muscle group doing the same motion hundreds of times a day. The change that actually helps is rarely 'click less'; it is moving the motion to a different muscle group entirely, since you are probably not going to review less output.

Do the arithmetic on your own clicks

If you review a hundred suggestions in a working day, that is a hundred repetitions of the same finger or wrist motion, every day you work that pace. Multiply by however many days a week you keep that up, and the number that adds up over a month is the one worth addressing - not any individual click, which on its own is nothing.

Moving the motion to your feet

Your feet are doing nothing while you review agent output normally. Pedal Three's usual mapping - accept, reject, and push-to-talk - covers almost the entire review loop without a single hand or finger movement, which is a genuinely different load on your body than the same decisions made with a fingertip.

Moving the motion to something bigger

Slam Buttons takes a different approach to the same idea: full-size arcade travel spreads the motion across your whole hand and arm rather than concentrating it on one fingertip joint. We are not making a medical claim here, just a mechanical one - a bigger target that you can hit without precise aim changes where the repetition lands, and for some people that is enough to matter.

What we are not qualified to tell you

We are not a medical device company and this is not medical advice. If you have diagnosed repetitive strain injury or ongoing pain, that is a conversation for a professional, not a hardware purchase. And if your strain is mild and mostly about sheer volume, actually reducing how many decisions you review per session - batching, or trusting the agent with lower-risk edits by default - costs nothing and may be the bigger lever, worth trying before you spend money on any of this.
