Some decisions want a full palm slam, not a fingertip. Accept and reject, at scale.
What is the Slam Buttons?
Two large round red arcade buttons mounted on a cream plate with a dark strip down the middle and a cable out of the top. Genuine arcade switches, so the throw is long and the bottom-out is loud.
What is the Slam Buttons for?
Everything else in this catalogue is about efficiency. This is about the fact that hitting a large button is more satisfying than pressing Y, and that satisfaction makes you review faster. The buttons are also large enough to hit blind, which is the real ergonomic argument.
How do you use the Slam Buttons?
- Plug the unit in. One thing to settle first: the supplier sells these as an accessory for its own retro mechanical keyboard, and the two buttons are labelled B and A. We have not confirmed they work on a plain USB port on their own, so ask us before ordering if you do not own that keyboard.
- Define the two macros, accept on one, reject on the other.
- Put it where your hand falls naturally.
- Slap. Keep your eyes on the diff.

Frequently asked questions
What do you map Slam Buttons to?
Accept and reject, in almost every case. They are big enough to hit without looking, which is what makes them better than keys for a decision you make hundreds of times a day.
Are these real arcade buttons?
Yes, real arcade switches with full travel and an audible bottom-out. That is why they feel different from a keyboard key.
Do Slam Buttons need charging?
No. They are wired and bus powered.
What to know before buying
These are full-travel arcade switches, so they are deliberately large and loud. If you need a quiet control for a shared office, choose a macropad instead.
